The Monkeys at the Zoo

A couple weeks ago, Grandma Hany and Papi took the kids to Family Fun Night at the SB Zoo while Ryan and I got to have a night to ourselves. It looks like they had a lot of fun! Here are the pictures my mom gave me.

This was last weekend at Avila beach. It is so nice now that the boys are at an age where they just play together and we can kick back and relax. There was minimal whining going on and we didn't have to carry them everywhere either. There was a lot of sand eating and sand throwing by Thad, but what are you gonna do??? We had a lot of fun.

Later that evening, Eli took me to see the movie, "Up". What an adorable movie! We had so
much fun together and at one point, Eli put his little arm around me and patted my shoulder. Almost brought a tear to my eye....my little man.
And then there's this one....
When Eli is at preschool, he get's mommy's 100% attention. Thad is learning how to say his numbers 1-10 IN SPANISH!!! It is so true that the second child picks up language so much faster than the first. He loves Sesame Street. His favorite characters are "Big Bood", "Cooookie", "Memo's Woood", "Ocker" (Oscar the Grouch), "Enie", "Boot" (Burt). He also makes sure that everyone knows who HE is too. He points to himself and says "Thad".

Looking forward to some summertime camping trips, beach days, and just being together. Happy Friday everyone!

Oh wait!!! I was going to clean the house today, but we did this instead.
The house is still dirty, but we had a great day at the beach :)
